Snow Park in South Korea

5:38 PM 32 Comments A+ a-

There were two destinations which my kids considered as the highlight of their SoKor trip. First is the Snow Park and the other one is Everland. Of course, whenever they feel excited for something and happy about the experience, I feel the same as well twice as much.

Since I'm not aware of the kid-friendly tourist spots in SoKor, it was my parents' idea to take them to the Snow Park. It was actually inside the mall and since it was a weekday, there were not much people when we went there.

We all enjoyed the very cold temperature inside. It was as if Elsa is just around the corner. Oh how my daughters kept on acting like they were in the Frozen castle. But despite the -1 C temperature, the staff were very warm and highly accommodating. We were able to try different parts of the Snow Park including the dog sledding. However, you need to pay 7,000 Won each person in order to ride the snow sled. I thought I would be able to see Alaskan Malamutes pulling the sled but instead they only have Siberian Huskies. I totally missed our dog, Astrid, during that time.

It's a long way down to the skating area

Kids enjoyed this the other attractions as well

Inside the sled is a door leading to the small ice slide

On top of their Tree House

Before heading to the Snow Park, make sure that you check their website for ongoing promos. We got a big discount by printing and bringing their voucher along with our passports. Rather than paying the price in full, we paid 50% off since we brought a printed copy of this:

When heading to the Snow Park, please do not forget to bring thick jacket and gloves. You won't be allowed to roam around the area without one. But you can also buy a pair inside as well in case you don't have any.

Have you been to the Snow Park? Check out their website here for ticket details and directions how to go there. You would surely love to go especially if you want to feel how cold winter season is. Throw some ice, make a snow angel, or have fun at their tall ice slide with your kids!

xoxo

Wow, the Snow Park is much better compared to our Snow World here in PH, it seems that you have more activities there. 50% is a big discount.

That is a great place to bring children. It has been probably 10 years since I last went to South Korea.
