Manang Bestida isn’t the Only Option for Preggos

When I first knew about my pregnancy with my eldest, I burst into tears. Not only because of fear that we may not become responsible enough as parents but because of the fact that I’m going to blow up like a cow. Or so I thought. During 9-month journey, it wasn’t hard for me to fit into my usual clothes and leggings. So when I had my second baby, I thought I would still have the same slim figure just like before.

the time when I was about to pop!

Much to my dismay, I actually became a blowfish. I ended up looking for preggy dresses at the mall. But during those times can’t afford ang lola nyo. Moms-to-be should be thankful nowadays. Since stylish maternity wear is hard to find. Plus-size fashion is a great alternative to maternity wear! Pregnant women now have a wide array of options when it comes to clothes that are comfortable and trendy at the same time.

Had I known about Zalora or other online shopping sites before, I would probably bought my preggy clothes here rather than settle with the lola bestida. If only that fashion police was around there somewhere, he would definitely arrest me for wearing that. Though we do love our manangs and lolaswho are comfortable with those dresses, let’s admit that malakas talaga makaloshang.

You feel me ladies? When on your way, make sure that you’ll still be the same stylish you without worrying about comfort. You can also get a couple of tips when choosing a maternity wear at Pregnancy.org and the likes as well.

xoxo,

it is true, mums these days are luckier as they have some many options for functional + fashionable maternity dresses, some are even designed for breastfeeding so they can use it longer. I will definitely hoard on those when I get pregnant again!

I get you! I first got pregnant 15 years ago with my eldest and during that time there weren't any fashionable maternity clothes. Preggy moms nowadays are luckier fashion-wise.

Totally get what your saying! Haha I also shopped at the plus size section for clothes that will fit me, but I realized there are other choices naman pala for me. :)
